toilet seat

I just changed all of the toilet seats at my house last week and got to thinking, why not get rid of the plastic one in the Berk, so I did. I replaced it with a wooden one that feels much more solid and like the ones at home. Easy 5 minute job and it seems much more secure. This is the one I replaced it with. If interested, keep an eye on it on amazon...price has ranged from 12.50ish to about $19. I really pleased with this upgrade.

Is it a regular size toilet seat? I've thought about before (usually whilst sitting on said throne) but I never made any further with the plan...

Regular size toilet seat. No issues installing.

We got a seat for our Dometic 310 model from Camping World - direct replacement - easy and better than the cheap plastic one

A word of advice. There are many different shapes of toilet bowls out there! You're not likely to want to carry your old toilet seat with you to the store.
Take a piece of cardboard and trace the toilet bowl outline and take it with you.

It'll save you (3) 1 hour round trips to the supply store!

(Don't ask me how I know)

Rich,

First thing I do when I get a new RV! Anne-marie and I HATE those cheap plastic toilet seats!

When we went to the Diesel Div last month, we told Craig and Tommy during the tour that Berk REALLY needed to loose the cheap plastic seat on the toilets for a residential wooden (or padded ) one. They were receptive, so we will see what happens in future changes to the Berk!
