I would have loved to use the flo-thru sensors, especially if I were a full timer but that extra length was enough to concern me about hitting something. I could have purchased different style rims to make them work...lol!

The flow thru's changed the balance by 0.5 oz which is enough to mess a tire up, had all 5 of mine re-balanced with the sensors on.

Ok I'm sold. Purchased set using 6 flow-thru sensors today. Figured rear axle of TV and both on TT. Thanks

lvn2tvl,

That's what I did, directly with TST. Two for my TV rear axle and the other 4 sensors on my TT although I traded mine for cap sensors. Like Oldcoot suggested, balance with them on the tires. I got cap sensors but if the flo thrus work on your set up use those.

Yep, planned to take the tires over to rebalance this week for this years travel but I'll wait now until monitor arrives.

Called today and was able to change to non-flothru. Flo-thru is really too long (1 3/4 approx. from end of stem) for TT wheels. Thanks for bringing up on forum.

You won't be disappointed. The monitor will last a long long time between charging and has a motion detector to shut off when you leave the vehicle unattended. The kit is loaded with neat accessories. Alarm will get your attention. Great piece of insurance. TST has excellent customer support also.....They are an accredited BBB member in GA with a rating of A plus (I just verified this for myself). Safe travels!

Wouldn't that make them .68oz out of balance?

I didnt see this thread till after i bought my TPM, but i saw the video on another thread of a blowout rollover etc. Since i hadnt took delivery yet i asked that they be installed. I have them on a MINI Cooper and had a blowout but with runflats it was no biggie just slowed down and drove to dealer. BUT I can say that they worked as advertised it alarmed immediately and i had ample time to pull over. And after seeing Interstates littered with truck tires gone bad it was a no brainer for me.

Thankx to all who replied to this post. Looks like it's the TST 507 for me. I'm still thinking about flow through or cap model. Good point on the length of the flow through.
DW needs something special in her stocking this Christmas.
