TST for me. Wouldn't be without them.
I can check my tire pressure each day right from the drivers seat.

ETA: I don't recall reading anyone saying they were not worth the cost.

Have TST on Berkshire and toad, easy like Dan said, check preasures from drivers seat before we pull out.

EZRV Products on mine (they're out of Yuma, AZ).

Be sure to get ones in which you can change the sender batteries and optionally flow thru fittings (you can air the tires without removing the sensors).

VERY happy with my purchase, although the EZRVs are not as popular as some other brands.

Get them for ALL tires (coach and toad)!!! I suspect if you ever blew a tire on the toad and didn't know it, you'd be towing a 3000+ pound bomb down the road and it would be ON FIRE!!!

Boowho??

I agree with Boo. I have the Tire safeguard brand. No problems after three years. Replaceable batteries and flow through on RV. Godd prices and excellent service http://www.amazon.com/Truck-Sensor-P.../dp/B00E55FFB0

I have the TPMS system from CW and I wouldn't leave home without it.... I monitors bot air pressure and temp (I believe the temp measure is the most critical because that most likely will be your first indication hat you have a problem).... I also bought extra sensors for my toad which is also monitored by my base unit. (It will monitor 20 tires if needed). I did buy the signal booster which I installed in a rear compartment which allows the toad signal to be sent to the base.

I bought tire traker at frog rally last year in goshen. What a sense of peace now as opposed to before. I had 4 blowouts before tpms was added. Hope I never see it activate.

TST 507 for me too. I don't think I've ever heard 'anyone' that has a tpms ever say it wasn't money well spent. Saved my bacon on more than one occasion. I wouldn't tow without them any more.

Didn't want to start a whole new thread so I just jumped in on this one.

Again yey, saved me a probable blowout. Driving home from a weekend trip and an alarm started going off. Scared the crap out of me at first because there were no warning lights on the dash. Then I remembered the TPMS, checked that and saw the DS outside dual was getting low. Dropping about one psi for every revolution of the system. Pulled off when it was safe and found that the valve extender had come loose and was leaking. Tighten it back up, used my coach air compressor to fill it back and down the road we went.

If I wouldn't have had a TPMS I would have never know the tire was loosing pressure and would have probably been void of any psi by the time I got home.

Will never leave home with out it.

I have the tire minder system on mine. Comes with the extender and six transmitters. I had extra transmitters from my older model that will work with this model, so now I have them on the coach, the toad and the dolly.

Do you have to offset the weight of the sensor to maintain balance?

How are they secured against theft?

No idea about balancing. But since I'm about to install mine, I'd love to know.

For theft, the TST use a set screw to "lock" them on. You need their special little tool to loosen it.

You should definitely rebalance the tires as I found out and others have verified that it threw the trailer tire off/out of balance by 0.5 oz. Was the same on all 5 tires (4 on the ground and the spare).
