Last summer we were hit by 50 mph crosswinds all across Kansas. We had ballooning of the slide toppers and ruined the one over the sofa slide. That caused me to buy slide case covers which helps keep them in place. Every time we are in a cross wind the coach tracks great.
We use our coach for several ski trips a year so we have a decent share of bad weather. As we entered WY during our last trip we were hit with the wind gust that turned my driver's side mirror up and out and I could not get it back in place without some very serious effort and a ladder. Sounds like these slide case covers definitely worth a look

I PM'ed Gasman because I know he installed his, but until then, is anyone familiar with tapping into an open fuse slot and running it up to the left drivers console? I thought I had it figured out, but the wiring diagram has gotten the best of me. With the hardware included, it seems to be a stretch to do it the way they instruct you to.
My intent was to put the timer relay in the fuse bay. They included a very short wire with an inline 15 amp fuse that is supposed to go from the switch to the timer. If I use an open slot in the panel with a 15 amp fuse, is there a reason to use the inline?

Hey JJ, never got a PM, but happened to see this while going over the Berk postings. I kept the relay in the side console and had the switch mounted above it. I ran the wiring down to the electrical compartment which is right below it. I used a fused wire when placing it in the fuse box because I wanted the timer circuit to have it's own protection.
