TV removal...

While trying to install an HDMI cable this evening I broke the coax off the back of the TV.

My plan is to remove the TV and have it replaced.

Any ideas on how to get it off the mounting system?

If yours is mounted up front, you have to remove the curtain track followed by the center piece above and behind the TV.... Now yo can reach into the TV cabinet and unbolt the TV...

Good luck...

Which TV was it? On my BH, the main TV, bedroom, and outside are fairly easy. Front TV is not.

Ours should be the same. If you look from the side you will see a piece of wood trim. There are 2 wood plugs that you need to remove. Remove the screws and slide the trim off. That should get you close enough to the TV connections if you hand is small enough. I can see my connection area but have to have the wife get her hand in there. If that doesn't work for you, you can access the TV bracket from that side too. Also, if you move your sound bar (mine was velcro) you will get good access to the wires coming up from the cabinet below. Hope this helps.

I was able to get the HDMI cable installed, but in the process I broke the coax off the back of the TV so I need to take the TV off to either repair or replace.

In my 08 you have to remove the curtain track then the narrow access hatch. It's still difficult to access the tv. The box is constructed of metal tubing I measured the space between the tubing an cut an access opening in the bottom big enough to do what ever I need to do. Jim
