Hi Phil
Ankle is healing. Went to Duke this week and had cast removed. Now in a boot until May 20th. Gradually will be able to put weight on it, but still using scooter, wheelchair and knee walker to get around. Had to cancel the 2 week trip to Marathon because I could not use the boat. Maybe next year. Did not know Okeechobee fell through,, What happened? We were planning to stay there with you sometime next February. See you soon,
Marty

We were buying a lot from a existing owner. We agreed on price and did a "handshake " over the phone. He came down to close on the deal and get his stuff and backed out. Turns out he was playing his wife. She wanted it sold and he didn't. We found out from others in the park that he is not very trustworthy. Oh well we did better in Fort Myers. We lived Silver Palms because of the people but the management isn't very stable and now we have heard the park is for sale again. We bought in Cypress Trail in FM and are happy with it so far. Lots of work to do with landscaping and sheds and all that.

Thanks for all of the advice. I pulled the trigger on a 17 foot with 10 foot drop. I am excited to think about having some shade this year...

To those that installed a single section shade, is there any problem with the extra thicker roll (when rolled up) fitting into the metal cover, and does the awing completely close?

I would be skeptical about adding an extra 10 ft to the roll. Depends upon the material thickness as well.

I have a 4 foot section attached to my 20 foot awning that rolls up with the awning. I have a 6 foot zipper section to extend to the ground. The six foot section is not designed to roll up with the awning, remove and store in provided storage bag before retracting awning. Yes, 10 foot roll up shade would be to much for my A&E electric awning.

My concern was for Gasman, who who wants to roll up 10fT.

Sorry Hank I misread your post. Rich if you did buy a one piece 10' drop let us know if it rolls up. My six foot is about all mine will hold. Hope you got the two part.

Hey guys, sorry, I guess I was a little unclear. Mine is a total 10 foot drop. It is a 4 ft. section that tucks into the awning when rolled up and then a 6 foot attachment screen when unfurled.

Rich
