Washer shakes the entire coach
Anyone have any ideas? When we run the washer and as it is spinning up or slowing down from spinning it shakes the entire coach. Anyway to secure or balance this thing?

Washer in our Legacy does the same thing. I think the main issue is that it IS anchored directly to the coach frame, which then transmits the vibration. I just figured it was a matter of "that's how it is".

After a long early morning drive to our destination, wife decided to try out the washer in our new GTown just before we laid down for a quick nap. All was fine until it hit the spin cycle and the bed started to vibrate. We looked at each other and started to laugh.

Just think in the 70s people actually spent money on a vibrating bed and you get it for free. 😀. Hopefully it's not too bad.

We actually don't feel it unless we are laying down. It's a little more pronounced in the rear of the coach, since that's where the W/D is. The rest of the cycles have no affect.

load balanced?
does it do it more with towels or blankets jeans only?
the anchoring very well could be the issue
is there a method to remove it and put some sort of rubber buffer on each leg and reattach so it acts as a damper?

My Phoenix is the same way. I like to do laundry at bed time. Its like one of the cheap motels of yesteryear with the bedside quarter boxes and the vibrating bed.

I can only tell you what works for us. We added permanently mounted stabilizers about 10 years ago when I had had enough of the fact that the bi-pod we had been lugging around and using just wasn't going to work. We have been not only satisfied with no shaking when using the washer but love it when I can't feel dutch rolling around in bed or moving about in the bedroom. Hope it helps. Hugs Di

We also have a 364TS, best time for a nap is when wife doing laundry, great for the back...

One thing I have found in our 2011 Berk340RB is to make sure on our front loading washer that once you have loaded the washer is to feel for the clearance from the top of the clothes to the top of the drum of the washer. If you allow at least 6" free above the clothes it does some shaking but not nearly as bad when you "fill" the washer to the top.

Great idea
Looking at it, there's no rubber. It's just mounted to the wood cabinet it sits in. I'm going to remove it and place rubber pads under it to see if that helps. If I figure something out il post pics

You'll make it worse, the rotating drum is mounted internally with springs and load washers designed to accept the imbalance and shed to the casing. Much like engine mounting in autos, vibration must be modified as attached to the foundation. They all do it it seems.

Well ours vibrates the bed & coach too. Just the way it is I guess.
As to the quarter vibrating beds of 45 year ago. The washer has the same effect when we are in bed. I just for some reason don't get the same result tho !!
