X2 Between spring and fall when I am using my truck a lot, for trips, I top off the tank. During the winter months I do not top off the tank so all the old DEF will mostly gets used up. In winter if you do top off you want to be careful not to overfill the tank, since DEF freezes and will crack the tank if there is no room for it to expand.

BW - no,I didn't know that. I would of loved to hear that in the movie.

Mel Brooks is one of the greatest comedy writers in the would IMO. Even at 89 years old.

Just a heads up, a $15.00 battery pump will make life much simpler. Wait till you try and pour the DEF from the jug to the tank. Click image for larger version

Make sure you run a couple of gallons of clean water through the pump when finished so the DEF doesn't crystallize. Just clean water, nothing else.
