Water filter cartridge
What replacement cartridge are you guys using??? The cartridge I currently have in my water filter looks NOTHING like the replacement I was told is correct.... My current filter (a WaterPur) appears to be a rubber coated heavy filter but the replacement is a mesh looking one....
Anyone have the replacement number??? I gave the parts guy the replacement code that was on the filter holder and this is what he gave me - a Watts Flow-Pur model #WCBCS975-RV... Said it was a universal filter....

Being that your rig is a 2008 model you may have a different setup than most of us. We have a kw1 filter that is inside a fr1 housing.

In my 2008, I took one look at that replacement filter and decided not to use it. I use the OEM one I order from the company. You pay more but have peace of mind.

Do not buy the generics off of Amazon that claim to be equivalent to the WaterPur Model CCI-10-Ca filter! I did and ended tossing all five due to the garbage water pressure. Using the generic filter dropped my faucet pressure to a trickle and made the toilet and shower almost unusable.

I use the F1Pb filter from The RV Water Filter Store.
https://www.rvwaterfilterstore.com/RCComboCartridge.htm
We use our TT on average once a month so I wanted a high quality filter that not only filters out very small particles (down to 0.5 microns) but also is resistant to stagnation while it sits in the filter housing full of water for weeks on end. I've found it has little impact on water flow.

That's why I made this swap. It was a pain due to the awkward location, but now I have many more filter options, easy availability and much cheaper price.

That's a good deal considering my local dealer has them priced at around CDN$40 each! Please share where you ordered them.
