Water Heater Electrical Issue

I have a 2010 Berkshire with a Suburban SW10DE water heater. When I run the water heater on electric it draws my current very low. With the water heater off I have 119-122 volts coming into the coach. When I turn the electric water heater on the voltage drops to 110-112 volts. Anyone have any ideas how to correct this issue? Has only recently become a problem.

Thanks

RN,
The water heater is a big current draw when used in the electric mode. I know this because I didn't turn it off one day when we finished camping and I began to travel and was using the generator to power both air conditioners on a hot day. The circuit breaker on the generator tripped and I didn't know why since I had been running both AC's without a problem earlier. Turned off the water heater and the problem went away. It is a real power hog when on electric. Just turn it off when not needed.

I would have to agree and say that is pretty normal. No science behind my opinion other than the two fivers I owned had that type of water heater and when it kicked on it would trip other breakers in the campers.
