water leak around refrigerator

I was coming home from trip and my son noticed water on the carpet at the base of the refrigerator. Wiped it up and noticed when I opened the freezer drawer, water was frozen under it. When we got home I defrosted the refrigerator and then turned it back on to see if I could find a leak. I didn't see anything then so I again turned it off and turned off the water to the ice maker/drinking water. When I returned the coach to the storage facility, I again saw water on the floor, but noticed that the tray under the ice dispenser was full of water and the chute for the dispenser was wet. I had turned off the ice maker before we had originally left for home and dumped the ice maker bin, but didn't press the ice make button to empty the icemaker completely. Could this be where the water is coming from? Will ice in the ice maker melt with the refrigerator on but the ice maker switch inside the fridge shut off? Any ideas?

Go outside to the ref and take cover off.... Look inside and you will see a plastic water line.. Odds are a hole had been rubbed in it and it's leaking water inside the ref and it's running out on the inside of your coach....

Ask me how I know that.

I cut that line, capped it and don't even use the ice maker... I bought a stand-alone ice maker...

gasman,
Would help to know year and model of coach. Do you have a residential or Dometic refrigerator?

dometic fridges have a cheap plastic drain line for condensate and it can crimp, crack and fail in a few years.
I just replaced mine for htat reason with clear plastic 1/2" hose I got at home depot for $7.

Only other thoughts - very humid so you got extra condensate or sitting unlevel with fridge running.
My home fridge had icing issues - the drain in the frost free freezer got plugged (its in the floor of the freezer with a shelf over it) and the defrosted water had no way to drain out.

Rich,
Is this something that just started? There was a thread about a refrigerator leak. See if this helps at all.
