Turn screw clockwise
#2: Pump won't shut off:

#3: Put a real latching handle on the dumb pump bay door. IMO

Paulie Boy.... Unfortunately I don't have a solution for the latch.... Was just aggravated that there isn't one! Sorry for any confusion.

I've thought about adding these I'm not sure they are long enough to fit our doors.

Struts are no problem to find. I'm little timid about drilling into the painted doors on the Berk. A screwup would be expensive.

True. But when it warms up some , I'm going to study the electric bay and if the internals of the door structure are similar and I can find the vender for them what I call vending machine locks I think I just may go for it. I have all the hole saws needed for the holes.
Not so funny , but when I picked up the coach on the way back from Buffalo that water bay door was not latched and was sort of flapping in the breeze. Not sure for how long but glad I wasn't riding the shoulder. lol

They are often called ACE or cam locks. A good lock Smith can get them but I'm sure you'll find a better deal online if you know what you need.

I'm actually thinking about a solenoid latch with a hidden switch the wireless remote ones are too expensive. I have found a few.

I am thinking along the same lines. But for all of the doors, giving the possibility of central locking for the whole coach....just like the big boys! You could also wire locks to have a separate switch for the pump compartment door.

I've found a few used on street rods so there are no handle showing. I think they would be easy to install and not damage the door. I was also thinking of dzuz fasteners like are used on small planes to hold the engine cowls less expensive route.
