Weird Lazydays Issue

Now this is really strange - I received a call (VM) from one of the salesmen from Lazydays in Tampa who stated that he understood that I was in the market for a Berkshire DP.... He wanted to know if I was looking for a new or used rig.... He asked that I give him a call so he could assist me in my search...

Here's what's crazy - I BOUGHT my Berkshire FROM LAZYDAYS in 2011 and from the very salesman that called and left the VM....

NOTE: I've not been in touch with Lazydays since 2011 so go figure....

Maybe it was a slow day and he decided to clean out his desk and found a note with your name on it.

Recycling sales data, calling to see if they get a call back. My sister works for a car dealership and the new trend is data mining the customer base, almost free, easy as a phone call. If they get a call back it could lead to a sale. Cheaper than mass mailing or paying for a database by zip code.

Rich.M....

Not much chance in that... We LOVE our 2008 Berk.... Only have 40K miles on her and we know her inside and out.... Super power, great mileage and still looks like new.....

Still have those *@@&** steps BUT we are planning on makings it to Goshen this year so maybe we can finally put that issue to rest.....

Glad to see you are planning to go to Goshen. Donna and I are going and would love to catch up with you and Tommi. Our paths have almost crossed several times but we seem to miss each other. Are you planning on going to the FMCA rally in Indianapolis in July? We will be there also.
Marty

If you buy something from them you are always on there radar especially if the salesman is still there that sold you the camper. Even if he changed to another dealer he keeps your contact info just in case. Later RJD

Marty....

Yeah - looking forward to spending some time with the "Berk" gang.... Lord willing - we will be there but we won't make the FMCA rally....

Our oldest son and family are moving from Spring, TX to Bangor, ME in April so we are going there before we head for Goshen....

Not uncommon in RV and auto industry and even occasionally in home sales when things get slow. The power of suggestion is very real. If you don't think so ask McDonalds "do want fries with that"?
