Welting on seat is worn

I just noticed the other day that the welting (that small round piece of vinyl between 2 flat pieces) on the front of the passenger seat arm is worn down to the threads. Has anyone experienced anything similar and if so, how was it repaired?

i had it happened on my unit at about 18 months and 7500 miles
dlr contacted FR ,they said replace "em" and they did

My coach is almost 5 years old so I doubt that FR will do anything now.
