What did you do to your Berkshire today ?

I'm sure this has been started on here before, but seems when threads on here get a little dated you cannot add to them.

Anyways I figured with winter approaching and being stuck in Ct at least for another winter I'd wash and wax the coach. I thought this took a long time Click image for larger version

I ended up getting the rear cap and the passenger side done as well as replacing the stereo in the outside entertainment bay, (which the dealer provided). Stuck my head above the front end of the coach and saw this.

Imagine driving 380 miles and it just sat there .

So at any rate looks like whose ever drill it belonged to ( perhaps previous owner, removed his satellite dish and put in the directional antenna. Although it's not screwed down or water sealed. So I'll need to get me some of that roof top sealer and get it sealed for now. All and all not a bad day.

Nice looking ride Joe, oh and that's my drill, please return to south LA at your earliest convenance

I packed mine with some clothes and beer, taking her to a CG near a training facility I have to attend. Better than sleeping in a hotel.

Joe,
Now that you got that washing/waxing thing down to a science, it would be great if you could do mine. I'm only a short hop away on Long Island. (LOL!!!)

ps- I don't have any hookups like Superchief.

don't know what is going on with my internet but I seem to be having issues posting. Guess it is time to call Verizon!

You'd have to pay me big, big bucks just to go into Long Island. I bought the Dodge from a guy in Long Island and when I went with my truck and trailer to go get it on the way back the gps kept trying to put me on the park ways. Think I circled around parts of Manhatten about 3 times before I found my way out. Wasn't pretty !

Completed the exterior waxing, all and all a 2 day job. Come spring time I'll wash and wax the roof and then go around and redo the exterior.

Fastened down and sealed the Directional Antenna on the roof.

Fastened the night table in the bedroom.

Next on the agenda, get power to wet bay for pump.

Spent some time in the coach today trying to familiarize myself with different things. Found a part of the back splash material over the kitchen counter is loose. Thinking that I can squeeze some adhesive behind it and put a brace on it to hold in place till adhesive dries.

Left side of drivers console second gauge down. What does this represent ? I see the psi but also see the 2 air gauges on the right side which are for the brakes . I have noticed sometimes driving this gauge on the left will read 0-10 lbs, but usually around 5 lbs.

That is the turbo boost pressure. When cruising, it will be at a low pressure. When you step on it, the pressure goes up, the HP goes up and your mileage goes down. I guess the only good thing about the gauge is that it tells you that the turbo is working.

Hank is about details and what it really means I just tell what drives the gauge lol.

Do I understand you are going to wait for spring to seal directional antenna? If yes I think it is a bad move. Should do before winter.

Had some spare time today so I installed the EMS-HW50C. Not to bad of an install although they don't allow for to much room in the box for the wires coming in especially the end where the collars slide over the wires.

Also finished up the plumbing up on the sewer pump.

Chris I bought it at Tweetys and the price was 304.33. I figured even with paying the shipping for me it was still a little cheaper than Amazon with Prime.

Winterization 2015 in the history books. Boy I bet my wife will be disappointed when she gets back from S.C. and find out that is done.

Also tried out the sewer tank pump and it worked flawless. Only issue was when I disconnected the water from the tank flush I got some flow back water ( clean ) ran out and dripped in the compartment. I'm going to make up a 2 - 3' section of hose so from now on I'll undo the connection outside of the compartment first so anything still in there will run out on the ground.
