Best - Camping World, Lake City, FL - drove in at 9AM, on our way home with a slide problem, they fixed it and we back on the road by noon; Action Automotive 202 N 14th St West Memphis, AR - problem with our RV - worked on it for several hours (started at 8AM) and determined that it was our fuel pump - new fuel pump installed - cost $254 and on the road by 1PM. Pretty good considering all the hours they put in dismantling, test driving and putting drive shaft back on (we were towed to this shop). Mom and Pop operation, friendly, fair and competent. Courtesy chrysler/dodge/jeep/ram in Abbeyville, LA -2012 RAM 1500 differential problem - was supposed to have been repaired at Payne's Automotive in Weslaco, TX but was not repaired properly. Called the dealership in Abbeyville (went by another name at the time). They test drove it on a Wednesday, diagnosed problem as faulty differential, repaired it and had it back to me by Friday morning. They stated that whoever had previously repaired it was incompetent as they over-tightened. Everything covered under warranty. They were friendly, treated us like family and went out of their way to make sure we were back on the road as quick as possible. Note, Payne had had the RAM for 8 days.
Bad - Payne is Weslaco TX - see above. Flying J in Beaumont - bad gas ($2K repair bill - not even a sorry from them). Happy Flying J was bought out by Pilot and gas changed to Shell from Conoco.
