What's my Berkshire worth?
Just wondering if you guys could help me out? I have a 2011 Berkshire 390 bunkhouse with 40,000 miles on it. 340 hp Cummings. Does anybody have any idea of how much I would get for it if I put it up for sale. I do see some for sale online asking between 130 and 140,000 any thoughts?

You can look up the value of your coach on NADA.

I was trying to find something a little more accurate, like what people have recently purchased there's for or sold their for. If possible

Look on RVT, there are not many in that year for sale but you can at least get an idea of where to start with your asking price.
Being as though there are not many for sale in that MY might make it worth more. I'd like to know what you actually sell it for just to give me an idea what mine is worth. Not selling mine as of yet though, just curious.
Good luck with the sale.

Hopefully you'll do MUCH better than this; but I bought a used (titled but never taken out even ONCE) with 3200 miles on it for $125000.
It's a 2011 390RB-40 and I bought it in November of 2012.
It seems to me that dealers can do much better at getting something close to NADA (or fair market) value. For example when I sold my 2000 Dutch Star gasser after buying my Berk, I got HALF of wholesale. After 6 months of trying it was the best I could do.
Again, I wish you luck. I obviously got a pretty good deal; it took us 6 months of heavy looking on the internet to find it.
Boowho??

Scott, I think you could get that low retail price you listed or close to it. Are you going to sell outright or trade in for a new one?

I think if I were to try and sell mine today, I start in the $145-150K range. Mine now has 15K miles on it, but I've added about $2000 of goodies since I bought it.
For me though, this would be a moot point; I intend to be carried out of mine cold, prone and stiff!!
Boowho??
P.S. Hmmmm..... Maybe there's a couple of folks here that LIKE that idea; and the sooner the better???

You got that right!! She watches that Investigation Discovery channel; with programs like "Wives with knives" and "How NOT to kill your husband"!!
I'd have the damn channel blocked, but I love Lt. Joe Kenda!!

My wife watches that channel all the time also.
I keep reminding her that they 'never' get away with it.

Mitchell,
I was going to try and sell my coach privately then when I thought about it, I didn't know what I where I was going to put all my 'stuff' from my existing coach until I had my new coach. I then thought that it would be easier to trade my old coach in and then just transfer everything from the old to the new when I took possession of my new coach. As it turned out, it took my wife and I all day to do the transfer from my old coach to the new one.
Just something to think about.
Tom

I've been trying to sell my Class C to move up to a new Berkshire, what a pain. Trading it isn't possible up here in AK because no one sells Berkshires up here or any other brand of new DP Class A. Plus, trading in a rig or car you tend to take a soaking and its hard to negotiate the best deal working with 2 items.

X2. I sold my old rig for half of wholesale, but STILL wound up WAY ahead on $$$.
Plus a one on one relationship with the seller/buyer is always much easier.
Basically, I guess you could say I hate dealers (or at least dealing with them).
