Wheel alignment.

Anyone know if FR does a wheel alignment on their Berkshires after the build?

Have heard that FR has paid for several after delivery, but don't know if they do them at factory before shipment.

I called Freightliner and they took care of payment on my alignment. I think they may have charged it back to Forest River, not sure.

Wheel alignment.

Also be sure rear axel is aligned. Mine was way off and thus the front would always be toast...

How did they fix the rear axel. I was told that it was welded in place and a huge deal to move it. Did they cut it out and weld it?

They. We're able to move it a 1/4" on one side to get the rear square to the rig. But that was after FL took a bunch of money! The coach was properly aligned at phoenix tire, a local truck spot... excellent job too the coach drives flawlessly!

Contacted Freightliner. Rep said Freightliner does the alignment before chassis is sent to FR. Therefore FR is responsible for wheel alignment after the build.

Contacted FR. This is E-Mail I received back.

We will cover a wheel alignment up to $250.00. Forest River is only responsible for toe.
Caster camber and thrust angle are Freightliner,s responsibility. The best bet is if the local Freightliner dealer does alignments take it to them. Send the bill along with before and after specs ( they should provide these with any alignment ) and we will send you a reimbursement check.
