Frost-free refrigerators gather moisture during the defrost cycle and empty it into a pan (almost at floor level) beneath the condenser coils, The condenser coils get hot when the compressor runs and helps evaporate the water. Generally, there is a bottom front panel that comes off to allow cleaning of the condenser fins with a brush.
I never noticed how much water is produced in my home refrig., but it leads to the question when in an RV that moves, tilts and sways, does the water stay in the tray? Hmm!
