Locks are easily gummed up with most lubricants. Even those that don't become gummy by themselves attract and hold dust which will eventually gum up the pins. The only lubricant that won't get gummy is powdered graphite. I've been using this for the pin tumbler locks in my house for almost 45 years and never had one get gummed up or have sticky pins.

Has anyone looked at keyless lock replacements. If so, are you happy?

I have and haven't found anything to fit. I saw what Silver did. He installed a whole new lock in the door. So he has three locks. It looks good and I'm sure if Silver did it it works great.

I just want one that I can replace the current one with. Saw one at Goshen, but never followed up on it.

Rich,

All the keyless locks I saw at Goshen were for 5ers & TT. Did you see a keyless lock for a Berk?! If so who was the vendor?

BTW, this is another area that the Ventana is beating the Berk - they have a keyless entry system standard.

Bob, I found two: Electric Motorhome Door Lock - AP 013-531 - Entry Door Hardware - Camping World
and https://www.rvupgradestore.com/Bauer...tm?Click=57610.
I wish there was a central locking system for baggage doors available as well.

Rich I do not think that either of those would work. I would love to have this upgrade. I see that the Charleston has keyless but Warren said that that one won't work either. They look the same but he said no go.

Interesting, Phil. I wonder why they would have different dimensions on the Charleston?

They also have automatic cargo door locks.

Hmmmm, there's got to be a way to transfer that system to ours.
