2013 312BHX Air conditioning

Is anyone else having issues with their air conditioning? We stayed a week at the beach with temperatures not above 90 degrees. The A/C would not satisfy (set at 75 degrees) during the day. Did the factory not size the unit correctly?

Also, all the air is ducted to the back bunks making it very cold at night.

Normally set point on thermostat should be 10 lower than ambient outside temp.
Unit may be undersized as well.
13.5 k is normally std with 15k being optional in most cases.

Our bunk house get realky cold as well and we have to leave bunk house door open.

Shutting the vents off only creates another issue of low flow of air across the coils and may cause a freeze up.

It's too hot to set the thermostat 10 degrees cooler when you are at the beach.

We have same unit & have always wondered why the AC is in the back. It is colder in there, esp the 3rd bunk that's right next to AC. Overall, it seems to cool the unit ok, but the main bedroom is the warmest room.

I think the AC unit is placed at the back because of not only aerodynamics, but also because the unit is so tall.

We are looking to upgrade the A/C unit. If you can do that up front, it will probably be less expensive.
