2013 Sunseeker 2900 AV issue.

2013 Sunseeker 2900. I can't seem to get the in-dash DVD/GPS unit to send video from DVD to TV's. I set the in-dash unit to AV-1 and TV to cable and searched channels, but still can't get signal on TV. I assumed signal to TV would come through coax cable? In dash unit seems to be working fine. Would appreciate any help.

Mine has a magnadyne system. Just put DVDs in unit and choose av1 on TV.

The Magnadyne system has an av1 function too. Does that matter? Do you need to have TV set to channel 3? Thanks!

Mine is a 2014 and does not have the switchbox. I believe there are some setups that do require the tv to be on ch 3. On mine, it doesn't matter what channel the TV is on and there is no need to put the magnadyne on av1.

Thanks. We also do not have the switch box. Just a panel with external jacks.

If the steps I mentioned do not work , you may want to check the cable ends at both the TV and the head unit to make sure a cable hasn't come loose.
