2014 Nitro XLR Satellite Hookups Not Working

Thank you in advance for your replies. I just bought a 2014 Nitro 24FSQ. This weekend was our first trip and we attempted to use the satellite hook ups on the trailer. I am 100 positive we had good signal as we ran coax cable directly to the back of the Direct TV receiver and it worked fine, but when we used the satellite hook ups on the camper we had no connectively. We have a hook ups on each side of the trailer and an area in the in the living area and bedroom where it we can hook up the tv but none of them worked. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Mine was the same. They had apparently let a monkey finish the wiring of the coax as it was not connected properly behind my TV in the wall. I pulled everything apart and installed a good splitter that doesn't degrade the signal. The Chinese splitter they use causes huge signal degradation and even hooked up properly wouldn't allow my cable to function.

Amish built most of these campers and guess what the Amish don't have, electronics. My last two Cedar Creeks could not pick up satellite from the factory, we had to get a tech to fix it

Thank you for the input. Where and how did you access these Amish Monkey splitters?

I found mine by removing the main TV and taking the outlets behind it off the wall. Mine is a 31FQSL though so don't know how yours is placed.
