2014 Salem DVD & Surround sound

If it's like my unit... The panel on the wall with red white and yellow RCA jacks is hooked up as VIDEO OUT (yellow) from the DVD/Radio and AUDIO IN, red (right) and white(left) to the DVD/Radio.
I'd take a picture, but I just took my unit to the repair place to get the fridge checked.

If I remember correctly, you then put the DVD/Radio on "Aux In" or something like that.

Thanks for your help!!

We have a 2014 Wildwood 261BHXL. We have only had it a matter of days. The dealer made it sound as if everything was prewired and all I had to do was plug in the Red, White, Yellow plugs into the ceiling (which I have done). To me though that would only help with the DVD mode, not the normal TV.

We just bought a 2014 Wildbud, and the wiring from the factory is incorrect. On many units the input and output are reversed on the Magnadyne unit. They (or you) will need to pull the unit to correct it. BTW, the Magnadyne is a VERY low end component. No HDMI output, for example. Want good output on both audio and tv: you need to upgrade.

Jensen makes some units that will fit. Expect to pay around $250 or $275.

Same problem

I am also having the same problem - I too have the exact same DVD player that the original poster has listed. The speakers are entirely too quiet - and further, I have a 2015 salem 32bhds that has a spin around tv mount for watching tv in the main room or in the bedroom. The speakers are in the main room - which is horrible for watching in the bedroom - I simply cannot get the sound to come through the tv. I have the yellow/red/white plugs on my tv cabinet - but nothing is coming through the tv no matter what I do to the configuration or settings - only the camper speakers.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I posted this on a seperate post but as I read here it sounds like I should've just asked here. But anyways my sound is okay except I don't like how they have them setup as far as what controls the inside and outside and front and back, I have to relearn it every time I use it. My problem however is the picture. When I play a DVD it plays in black and white on the TV and I have gone through the settings on the TV and Jensen stereo to no avail. I'm not an audiophile so I don't really know if the wires are plugged in correctly. I will take a picture and post it tomm.

There appears to be two versions of this Linear RV4500 by Magnadyne. One has a front panel auxillary plug only , (Mine) and another also claims an additional headphone and/or ipad jack on the front panel. The company manual does not distinguish between the two. I havn't pulled my unit out to see what is on the back of it. Beside it there are 3 RCA female plugs as well as a couple plugs for TV input from roof antenna / cable which I presume has a antenna amplifier built into it.
