220 furnace issue

Im new, but Im noticing that when I crank up the furnace... the fan from the air con kicks on. Is this normal? My Thought was that just the furnace vents would put out warm air, but the cool air from the a/c vents seems to defeat the purpose.

Any input is most welcome.

Is the fan set to "Auto" and not to "on" ? It should not kick in when the furnace is working ....

Sounds like a problem all right... assuming you have the SP 220 trailer. Also assuming you have the Dometic "Single Zone Thermostat", this isn't so much a problem as an operating mode. Might want to look at the operating instructions for the furnace controller. It tells you how to set the unit to operate exactly like this. See page 9 "Furnace mode" and you can change it so only the furnace blower activates when the furnace is on.
