32" Toshiba LCD Mount

I've got a 2012 Windjammer with the 32" Toshiba LCD TV and would like to know how to remove the TV from the mount on the wall. Are there locks on the Rockwood mounts?

In my trailer Rockwood 8319SS, just lift the TV straight up and then pull forward....no locks on mine.

on mine I had to lift up then go left or right (can't remember) it was easy. I was able to unplug everything before I got it out.

There are many different mounts. There are a bunch of ways they lock down. I can almost promise you it has a lock. I was in the home theater business for many years as a service tech. A couple ways to figure out whats going on: a flash light and small mirror (cosmetic mirror for example), shine the light onto the mirror while trying to look behind the TV and figure out how your bracket works (low tech method). The other way is to use a small camera like a backup camera with IR lighting. I have a small wireless one that I have used more for looking behind something or where I just can't see than I do as a backup camera.

I took our 32" Toshiba out of our trailer this fall. Just lift straight up. There are four round spacers with shoulders that fit into keyholes on two strips screwed to the wall.

I am curious about why you want to remove the TV? I am going to have one when I get my new windjammer and think I will want install a swivel mount to replace the fixed mount.

I could not get mine out either and had the dlr do it when I was having warr. work done....found it takes a quick upward jult to get it to release from the retaining "pins". Just pulling up on it wouldn't do the trick....had to in a sense, shock it loose.

Let us know how that goes Buffalohunter. I've thought about a swivel mount but not sure I want to tear into it. Television is seems firm and stable and we really don't use it that often so I didn't mess with it during our first season. It would be a nice feature if it isn't a big deal to change out.

First thanks for all the replys.

I was wanting to take it out to get to the back panels. Right now when I watch a movie off Direct TV or cable in a full hookup campground. I plug in a 3.5mm audio cable to the Genesis unit from the audio out jacks on the bottom left of the TV. Works ok, but doesn't look that great. I wanted to use one of the aux inputs on the Genesis and run a circuit behind the panel.

I pulled as hard as I dared upward and no luck. I'll have to try the quick yank method and see if that works.

Removing TV

I've been trying to remove my TV also. I want to install a wireless headset. Using a mirror I know that the output panel on my TV with the model number does not match the diagram in the book or on line. Must be a design change somewhere and the documents haven't caught up.
I have also had trouble removing. Haven't tried the "jerk" method yet. I was afraid to break the tabs. One side is loose but the other is very tight and won't move.

Look on the backside of the tv, my tv mount has two allen head screws locking the tv onto the wall bracket, one screw on each side. Use a long allen t-handle or socket extention.

Remove the two screws and you should be able to lift the tv straight up and remove.
