921 LED lights

Has anyone ever purchased the 921 LED lights on EBay to replace there existing lights? I see they are quite reasonable in price but was wondering if they work good and if there is any issues with ordering them from overseas.
Thanks.

I have purchased several. You are correct, the price is very good. You have to pay attention to lumens, the light output, and the color. Try to buy from a vendor that states the color in K or Kelvin. Don't just go with a description of warm white, white, or bright white. The warm white ones I have purchased are too yellow in color. You can find a color chart on line to help you out.

Shipping is generally not real quick. Expect 3 to 4 weeks. For the price they charge and with free shipping you can't complain. I don't like to buy from China, but the US vendors are over the top on their prices. You will find that most LEDs are made in China anyway, even when bought from a US vendor.

I ordered my conversions from Camping World and it was plug and play. Just remember to use the spacer and screw.

EBay LED Bulbs

I replaced all of the 921 bulbs with LED but like an idiot I bought from my RV dealer. Boy was I stupid.

I decided to looked on Ebay for a 1157 LED for a fixture I bought to replace the one in the bathroom. Much cheaper but I didn't know how bright they would be. They were soft white. Good thing they were for the bathroom. Don't need that bright light at 2:00 am glaring in your eyes when you have to go.............

I was in Lowe's yesterday and they sell the LED 921 bulbs for $10.00

I just purchased 12 led warm lights from eBay for $32. I bought the same ones from my previous trailer and they are the exact same color as my halogens. The first pic is the standard halogen lights in the trailer. The second pic is the LEDs

JJs2000Z can you give some details about which bulbs or suppliers on Ebay that you bought from. It would be helpful. Thanks.

Just bought some. Purchased some other ones to help save the battery, but they were the cool white ones, and it looks as though only part of the lights are on. The Halogens get really hot and tend to discolor the clear dome. Hope these are better.

I've purchased several LEDs on eBay: some for my TT, some for my model trains. As previously stated, the shipping is a bit slow, but you can't beat the price. Just stay away from "cool white," the wifey will hate them (at least mine does.). Good advice on the lumen output and color (K) rating.

I swapped to LEDs in the kids bunks because of the heat problem. Basically switched anything reachable to LED and left the rest of the bulbs as halogens. The LEDs I bought seem dimmer in comparison, but I think that's just because they're less harsh. I kept away from the ultra-brights for fear they'll still be too hot around a couple of toddlers.

I purchased these from Amazon and have been very pleased. Brighter that the original lights in my HW27SC but not too bright/white. My converter fan used to come on when I turned on two of the original lights. I can now run all of the lights (4) and the furnace and the fan does not come on indicating a lot less amperage draw.
