I think your best bet is to get a new seal and as soon as weather permits pull the unit up and replace the seal. While you're in there inspect the drains too.

Asrabbit, I may take you up on the offer.
For now, finally had a tech come out this morning. Further tightened the hold down bolts and said it had frozen over.
Next rain, I'll know for sure.
