I would be inclined to leave it on. The thermostat setting might depend on what time of the day I plan on returning to the rig though. If I think I'm going to return in the middle of the day, I would probably set it lower than 85 since it will take it a lot longer to cool it back down.

good thought about coming back. When i'm about a 100 miles out I'll just activate the remote to turn the ac down!
That remote sounds like a long shot but if it works let me know where you got it cuz I'm in.
If you're full timing in Lindale area you could always crank the a/c down then run over to the Cracker Barrel on 69, or better yet head into Tyler and grab a burger at Juicy's. When you get back to the rig it should be nice and comfy.

That really is a good idea. We are staying about 10 miles east of Lindale at Whispering Pines/Jellystone. New house should be done in October.
