A/C only runs when plugged in, not on generator

I have a 2014 Coachmen Mirada 35BH. The A/C units will run when plugged into 50amp power, but is not running when the generator is running, Can anyone assist?

How large is your generator? Are there any other 'Loads' being used on the generator while you are trying to start the AC?

This is what I have read about Wattage.
"Have a generator with at least 2,800 watts to jump start your rooftop air conditioner."

Either generator too small, breaker on generator not on or auto-transfer switch not working properly.....

The generator is 5500, so big enough to run everything. It was working running both ACs until this past week.

Ok. I checked the breakers at the generator and in the coach, no luck. Any other ideas?

I'm just wondering how this ties into the original issue?

the OP speaks about a gen, i was just mentioning about how a jen is dirty power and could have created a bigger problem then just popping a breaker.

If the generator is running properly it should not have power spikes. Is the AC the only think not working, is there power at the AC outlets?

Thanks everyone. I figured out the problem. It was as simple as the coach power plug wasn't all the way pushed in. Haha
