So far, love our Grey Wolf, i guess buying new has it's problems also . Just looking to see if i'm doing something wrong.
I have a 15K unit as well and it will REALLY get cold fast.
Comparing it in any way to an older 13.5K is not fair to either.

Hope you feel that way if you ever boondock with a 3K watt generator. The start up amps in that 15K will trip most 3K watt generators off line. Needed to heavily mod my Coleman Mach III 15K unit to run reliably with our 3K Yamaha.

Pimp My Coleman Mach 3 AC
Hard Start Capacitor
air conditioner for generator mod

Forget the 2K ones even with "mods"

How long is you RV? South GA is not as bad as SE Texas, Houston area, but not much better in the summer. My 38 foot fiver has two AC's 15,000 BTU in living area and a 13,500 BTU in the bedroom and in the heat and humidity of summer they both run most of the day just to keep it cool. Good Luck

It's a Grey Wolf 26RL , specs. say it 30ft exterior lenght, but that's being very generous. The unit has not run long enough to tell, and it was barely in the 80's.

Took it into CW today for some other warrentee parts that had come in, so now they have the air conditioner proplem, will post their findings. Keeping my fingers crossed !!!!
