A/C vibration/noise

An FYI. My son and family went on vacation to the beach. Note: he didn't check a/c before leaving on trip. They get to state campground that isn't close anything. They turn on A/C and it is making noise. It was cooling fine, but he didn't want cause any damage. Shut it down and bought a portable A/C. After returning home, he took cover off of A/C on roof and found that a dirt dabber had built a nest on the fan blade.

That's a pretty common occurrence. As you probably already know.

It's good that you posted it to help remind people to at least run the A/C to test it before leaving on a trip.
