ac vents on

on my 2013 forest river solera on may 20/2017 I turned the furnace on for the 1st time and found that the ac fan turns on when the furnace goes on however, it stays on when the furnace turns off when reaching the temperature set in the dometic stat. my concern is that the air coming from the ac vents when the ac fan is on is cooler. is that the way it should work?

This is a common situation but I stopped saying "problem" since some apparently like it this way since it can circulate furnace heated air. To stop it like I do, cycle through thermostat modes until you get to FAN... use + or - buttons to cycle fan speed to AU for Auto instead of LO or HI which causes the A/C fan to run with the heater.

There are many threads on this 'situation'.

I just shut the breaker off to the AC when I had the heat one. Worked fine and much quieter.
