Exclamation Air condioner on Auto doesn't shut off

Hello, we are new to our FR sv-302. It is a 2008. We noticed that when we put the air on Auto it just runs and runs. It can be cooler outside (validated by temp guage) but it never shuts off. Is this normal operation for RV air conditioners? Thanks in advance.

Mine did that too last night. I realized I didn't set the thermostat. Don't know if it would of made a differences or not.

Got any more details? Dometic Brisk Air, Coleman Mach? I'm assuming you have the analog thermostat? Regardless of outside temp, if it's hot inside, or the t-stat thinks it's hot inside, it'll run until it's satisfied. If it's an analog thermostat, it is possible that it's on the fritz. But, to answer the question, the AC should cycle on and off in auto mode. Have you tried bumping the temp up on the t-stat to attempt a forced shut off?
