Air conditioner

We have a new FR and are wondering about the air conditioner. Is the fan suppose to run all the time? You can hear the air cycle when it hits temp but the very loud fan continues!! What, if anything, are we doing wrong? Thank you!

Go to thermostat, select fan, arrow up or down to get AU. Turn on AC should go on and off with compressor. Now if you don't want it to freeze up, select low fan speed. Not quite as loud as high.

Thanks, I'm trying that now, mine says auto? I really never noticed that before. I'm assuming that's like AU. Now I feel really silly.... Thanks!

Yes, both of my AC thermostats indicate AU for auto. If you have the fan set on high or low it will not turn off when the compressor go off.

No, that question comes up here many times a year. Almost all of us had to be told about it the first time.
