Air conditioner help.

So I have a 2010 300BHS. It has an air conditioner on the roof like most but I have no manual for it. So here are the questions.

1. How do I determine the make model and size?

2. How can I safely tell if it has soft start so I can start it with one regular outlet (not 30 amp outlet).

If you remove the panel from inside it should say what model number and size it is.
After you have that information you can contact manuf. or you can go up top and open up and see how the capacitor is wired in for starting.
Sorry that is the best I can suggest. If youhave no electrical background you may not be able to tell.

Robb, odds are you have a Dometic 13.5 AC. I attached a link to a possible Dometic 13.5 unit for your review. Maybe it will get you started until someone shows up with more info. Good Luck...

Well I took a picture of my model number plate. I also tried it out. It worked. I was able to run the Air just fine on 15 amp garage circuit. I even had a kids DVD playing for the boys and 2 LED light fixtures on.

Glad it worked Robb. With that number, you should now be able to get the proper manual from Dometic.
