Our 2016 cherokee 274RK --- I set the thermostat to auto and choose the temp
more often than not it will run for 30 seconds ....shut off for 10 seconds and restart ....not good for the compressor .....once i tap on the thermostat it runs correctly for a good 5 hours then starts the on off thing again
Is this just a faulty dometic t stat ?
I had a similar issue. I changed out the thermostat and no joy. Turns out it was a board in the actual AC, and you'd need a proper diagnostic to determine that for sure.
