Another Dish issue

Bought a new Tailgater & Vp211Z. cannot figure out how to make it work. Have a 2013 378XL Georgetown. I hook the cable to connection in MH that said Park Cable other end connect to Tailgater. question I have is the switch box in cabinet has four cable connection in back, TV/Antenna input, Cable input, Aux/Sat input, and Output to TV with same in front of box with a selection switch. which of these do I unscrew and screw to the back of the Dish receiver and what do I put the selector switch in front of box on? When I configure TV do I select Cable on my TV? Please help.

You have to use the SAT input and not the cable input. I have a friend that has a 2010 model and it doesn't have an SAT input on the out side of the MH? They run the cable in thru a window and directly into the receiver. It works for then. Also you must turn off the antenna buster to get it to work. Good Luck

Wrong. What you need to do is go look at all the inputs to your original question on this subject. There are numerous answers to your questions there.

Dish

Thank you every one. I reposted because I didn't know if it went thru. I received a lot of different suggestion on the other post and when I get home I will try some and see if I can get it to work before we leave for out west in a couple of weeks. Again thanks

You're very right on this. There should be a SAT input near the rear along with one for cable, and turn off the antenna booster. You may also have to change the input settings on your TV. Good luck.
