We just became seasonal campers We have a Coachmen Apex. We want to have a Tv outside but we do not have cable but have antenna reception. Can I run a cable from the cable hook up on the side of the trailer used for cable hook up when you have campground cable and run it directly to the Tv to get antenna reception? Or do I have to run it from inside the trailer
You have to run a coaxial from the antenna to the TV. The cable in the trailer goes directly to your TV . Not routed thru your antenna. Get a splitter put it on your TV coaxial and run another coaxial off of that .
if you don't have the dedicated coax outside tv connector you should be able to connect to your park cable input as you inquired about and receive the over the air antenna signal. This is predicated upon the park cable running to the antenna booster panel where the over the air antenna coax cable is routed. This is a typical interconnect.
