I did a bit of a trace on the one white cable coming up through the receptacle, and from what I can see, it appears to be the cable that was put in new by the cable guy.

Have you checked behind your TV in the entertainment center?

Just a minor moot point. That is not an amplifier. The amplifier is in the antenna. That is a splitter that supplies 12 volts to the antenna amplifier via the antenna coax cable.

Maybe the cable guy installed the antenna as a new installation and didn't know about having to install a power switch for the antenna amplifier. Anything is possible.

I’m guessing the cable guy wired around any possibility for the unit to utilize OTA signals since the occupants always intended to use cable.

Or, because this is a park model the previous owner may have had the cable guy bypass the OTA antenna so the only inputs are the SAT & CABLE connections on the rear of the trailer. At this point there's no telling what the cable guy did with the power wires, or the antenna lead. As the entertainment center is in the slide you could always run the slide out and have a look see for power and coax wiring.

Thear are non-amplified Sensar models. (no power supply/no buttons)
Here is one...

5picker could be but the only thing I could find is that his model (2017 year made) comes with a Winegard antenna with booster. There are also pictures with jack antennas installed but they also require a booster power input. I'm done.

bubbles: You are wrong - the pic D W provided IS the amplifier. The red wire in the middle is the 12VDC power supply. You can see the white ground wire underneath the top cable.

Attached below is a manual on one version of the amplifier. See the middle drawing on the right on the 2nd page. Some come with only one output connection, some come with two output connections, some come with one output connection and a 12VDC power plug.

Rockfordroo... unless I'm reading something incorrectly, you are confused about the amplifier -vs- power supply in your statement to bubbles.

The wall mounted device is the POWER SUPPLY.
It takes 12v from the back of the wall plate and inserts it into the coax running to the antenna, to power the AMPLIFIER mounted to the antenna.

The manual you posted clearly calls it a "RV WALL PLATE/POWER SUPPLY"

Did I mis-read something?

Technically it is called a power injector. It supplies 12 volt power to the amplifier in the antenna head through the coax. They also have a circuit that strips the 12vdc from the returning signal preventing it from entering the television through the coax to the tv.

Never said is wasn't a power supply. Actually it's not even that because the power comes from the battery or converter. The amplifier is located in the antenna itself. By the way the fine print as a note in your reference is as follows:

NOTE: THIS UNIT IS NOT AN AMPLIFIER. USE ONLY WITH A WINEGARD AMPLIFIED RV ANTENNA.

Note here: If you rig is equipped with a non-amplified antenna such as the Winegard Sensar III GS-1100, it is often coupled to a Winegard Receptacle # RV-7596 which becomes the amplifier.

I stand corrected in that the wall plate is NOT the amplifier, at least for the manual I posted. Apparently the amplifier is in the antenna itself. (As I now see it says in the manual I posted.)

HOWEVER - MOST folks posting here in the past have called the wall plate component "the amplifier" and talk about turning it "on" and "off." (In my 5-1/2 yrs on the forum, this is the first time I've ever heard anyone mention that the actual amp is in the antenna. Furthermore, externally, it appears, you would be hard-pressed to know if you have the amplified vs non-amplified component from just looking at the front of the plate, as they don't seem to put a model number on the plate. So hopefully I can be forgiven for my ignorance; I've learned something today.)

So I'm guessing the wall plate and it's ON/OFF switch, which both versions seem to share, is what the OP is actually looking for. If he doesn't have one, he may not have an amplifier in his antenna, either.

Update: I was unable to actually find an RV-7596 (or RA-7596) doing a Google search. I did find an RA-7296, which appears to be a similar wall plate-amplifier.

I'm thinking that the previous owner had a problem with the original setup and had a tv repair service change the cable and amplifier.

The OP states that his antenna is one without a built-in amplifier. If this the case then a amplifier for the home will work. I have one like the unit below on my OTA antenna at home and it works very well. So well that the OTA antenna is 4 foot off the ground, I get 27 channels from 35 miles away.
