Antenna booster

Just what is an Antenna Booster? Our 2012 Silverback has one behind the living room TV and I just recently discovered it. This was not discussed in our PDI.

No need to go into the depper science behind these antennae boosters, suffice to say that without it activated (so the green light is on) you will not get any TV signals for watching when you are using the roof antennae. On the other side, turn it off if you are connected to cable service provided at various campgrounds. Remember to also program the actual television to scan for "air" or "cable" source for your programming pleasure, found in the televison menu options.

When using the roof top antenna you turn the booster "on" (light will glow) and it gives you more gain in your signal. When using park cable or satellite input you turn booster "off" to let signal pass thru uninterupted.

OK I guess I type too slow.Ken's given you all the info.

Got it - "On" for TV when using the roof antenna and "Off" when connected to cable service.

This goes into our checklist.

Thanks

Long and short:

1) It is the power supply for the amplifier in the roof antenna
2) It is a powered switch that switches to the roof antenna when turned on and to the cable input when turned off.
3) The output from the selected source is sent to a splitter that feeds the rest of the camper.
