Avenger TV Mounting

So we recently purchased the Avenger 26bh.... which we love, but we are trying to install a flat screen tv mount (in the designated space), but it does not seem as if the studs are really large enough to properly install the mount. And we did my a tv mount from, thus it should work.
Any suggestions or ideas from anyone who has already installed one??

We have a 2012 Avenger 26BH. Are you putting the TV in the bedroom? Our came with a TV mounted in the living room and I added one to the bedroom. There was a sticker on the wall that said "mount TV here". I knocked on the wall to listen for blocking and couldn't really hear it. So I took my mount and marked the holes and used a very small bit to drill test holes. All was good and the TV mounted firmly. I think I didn't here the blocking because the paneling wasn't tightly attached to the blocking.

Took your advice... it worked perfectly. I was worried, as it is really difficult to tell where the studs are!
