Back-Up Camera

I would like any suggestions on the removal of my Furrion back-up camera prior to winter storage. I do realize plenty of camping season left, but thought I could get some insight on this. My T.T. was equipped with pre-wired for back-up camera. It is like a plug and play set-up. I need to know if the camera would be better taken off the camper and stored inside my home. My T.T. is stored with a cover at my home for the winter. Would appreciate any thoughts.
