Barbeque hung off siding issues?

Ours came with a swing out arm arrangement, attached to the back bumper. Disconnect the pin, swing out the arm, attach the grill, plug in the gas line. It swings out a fair distance from the rig. FIRE UP THE GRILL, LETS EAT.

Ok. Good to know- haven't stuck my head back there yet as I pick up the unit this weekend.

Looked at the bumper mounted unit but too far from connection and already have extra sidekick.

But I agree...LETS FIRE UP THE GRILL AND EAT!! Going to have our shakedown run next weekend down stream from Hoover Dam.

Thanks for all the reassurances, we have been using it for the last week and all seems okay with regards to the siding.

We have on that fits on rails on our 5er - and Rockwood was nice enough to even give us a factory installed propane hookup for the grill

Have had no problems at all and have cooked everything from high-heat seared steaks to slow cook ribs.

My only concern would be if you were camping in very active bear country - where bears are a known to raid camps. Might want to remove the grill from the side of the RV before retiring for the night - just to be safe...
