Basement Cable Static

Hooked up to campground cable...TV in bedroom & living room play crystal clear...got TV in basement on same channel as inside TV's & picture is horrible, static looking picture.

Any ideas what to check on to cure poor picture quality?

I know on My Freedom Express I had to change out almost every cable end in the trailer. Every one had strands of silver wire wrapped around the copper conductor, poor job on coachman's behalf.

Yep, think I'll rip into the basement cable plate tomorrow & check it out

And check out the other end of that wire as well. It will probably be on a splitter near the back of the Antenna Booster Comtrol plate.
