Battery LED Puck Lights for Bed Reading

I'm looking for some battery powered LED puck lights to mount under the cabinets over the bed. Anybody have any suggestions on brands/models which are bright enough for night time reading?

Your local Walmart have them. Sorry I do not know the brand name but the use AA batteries are led and will swivel and angle. These can be bought in singles or in packs of 3 at our local WM. There are 2 levels of brightness. I bought a couple for closet lights and they should be plenty for reading also.

Bought one at Walmart in Flagstaff, 3 triple A batteries, direct-able, 2 levels of light, attach by screw or velcro, "ritelite" $6.97 ea, works great will buy more for closets etc. Saw the same type of light at Home Depot couple days ago.

we bought these at sams club $20. haven't had a chance to mount any in the camper but looked like they would work based on the display set.

Costco has a 6 pack currently on sale... mount with double faced tape included but I use velcro... they push for on/off or use the include remote for on/off and fading to lower level. They even come with batteries... were on sale for $15, regular $21

each light about the size of a can of smokeless tobacco

now that I look they appear to be the same as the Sams Club pack pictured above, but I am sure they come with 6 lights and ONLY white light not colored

I tried the Walmart ones with the double back tape and it would not hold. I was very disappointed. Maybe I need to try velcro? The actual lighting was great.

HDepot sells velcro sticky back tape and also another HD type, not velcro brand, but I cant think of it. I have used both, but like the heavy duty stuff as the stuff really sticks well to the walls, cabinets, and everywhere I have used it. supposed to be rated for 10# as I recall.

I have the Costco lights. They are nice for "mood lighting" but not bright enough for task lights, reading etc. Save your $ on those.

No they are not bright reading lights, and nothing this size, battery operated probably would be... but several grouped in a small area would be bright enough to read by especially if they are right above your head by a few feet. Nice that they can be all lit or shut off at once with the remote, or individually by pushing directly on the light..

In this context I believe they will work...

I purchased some of these....

Commercial Electric 3.3 in. LED Brushed Nickel Puck Light 1001217676 at The Home Depot - Mobile

I like the nickel finish and the magnetic way they attach. I put two of them above the bed in our 274RK Cherokee TT. Since the front wall is curved, I was able to angle them and they work perfect for reading since the light comes from behind you, and not having it in your line of sight. These are way nicer than the plastic ones that scream "Chinese & cheap".

X2, I have the same set. I love the remote control. I have that right at the door when I come in. Not the greatest for reading but I do use them for that on occasion.

Got the Walmart brand and they started falling off in less than 24 hours due to the poor sticking ability. They are a really great addition in multiple places, but don't buy them without investing in some good quality double-sided tape or heavy-duty velcro.
