Built in wifi connection

Ok I parents just got a 2015 Vibe , it came with a built in wifi access ... I can not for the life of me find any info on set up for this device? Salesman was a joke and knew nothing about it. So what is it and can I get technical support for it? I read other posts please don't tell me what you have and what works for you, that is not what I am asking.. I need to know about the unit that came with the trailer. Thank you for your time.

What about your dealer service department? Also a post at 11:30 will get lost the way the forum posts recent discussions. Bump it occasionally so it rises to the top.

What is the model number of their Vibe?

The more info you provide, the better the chances of getting a response.

It is a 308bhs. I assumed that all forest rivers would have the same built in wifi? From the factory from the same year? My bad...

It is not wifi it is a wifi access router so it gets signal from an internet source ,say campsite wifi and gives you a network to connect to inside RV. The trailer came with the tablet remote for lights slide outs and stabilizers. The tablet connects to the same unit I am needing info on.

Ok so dealer was full of it. I downloaded the pdf for the myrv system and this is what I found.

NOTE: the wireless hub cannot be used as a Wi-Fi hotspot. The my RV tablet is Wi-Fi capable and may be used to access the internet , BUT a usable Wi-Fi connection MUST be available.

There was a discussion on this a few months ago and if I remember correctly, the WiFi is simply a connection method between the tablet and the RV to allow the tablet to operate some items in the RV. If is not an access point to the internet.

Maybe your salesperson sold Chevy vehicles in his former life! Some new Chevys have built in Internet access that requires a monthly fee. LOL

Yeah I wish it had the ability 2 be an internet hub. Looks like I will be getting an router and an outside antenna and making a Wi-Fi extender of some sorts.

I have the WiFiRanger and it pulls in the wifi great....ant outside router inside...its can also connect to your local Hotspot inside if there is no outside network.
