cable hookup

Do I need to do anything special to use cable at a campground that has it? I have only ever used the tv to watch dvds. Will I need to take any cable cord with me? Thanx for all the input this site is awesome.

I just stayed at my first campground with cable. Had to go out and buy a cord. 15 feet worked for me, but you never know. I would have one just in case.

Most campers, when you hook the cable up, DO NOT turn on the amplifier on the wall plate. Leave the switch off, and the light out. Hope you enjoy.

Are most outside hookups on the camper? Will add a cable cord to my list.

My TT has an outside hookup for cable and satillite. Hook into cable and auto program TV using the "cable" choice for antenna. Like posted earlier, make sure booster button is off (no light) or signal will not pass thru.
