Cable TV in LR but not BR

My Georgetown 335ds has an external cable input. When I connect it, the living room TV works great but I can't get cable on the bedroom tv. Both TVs work perfectly for OTA. Any ideas?

If you haven't, push input on remote/tv. Set for cable, and scan for available channels. Should detect all available cable channels. Good luck!

When I do the scan, it doesn't find any channels. The LR TV found 79 channels. The "tuner" suggestion seems reasonable except wouldn't a tuner be required for OTA too?

Make sure the co-ax in your bedroom is connected to the splitter. Most likely if you pull your bedroom cable wall plate down, the splitter should be hiding right there. It's possible the co-ax was never connected. Mine wasn't on my Cedar Creek.

If your 2nd TV works with OTA input sure sounds like the only thing left is the TV itself. Same cable/same splitter/same everything for OTA signal.

There were a series of TVs that didn't have digital cable tuner built into them. The OTA channels would all work fine, but anything through an outside cable would not work. I think they were Seiki TVs.

Are there 2 cable inputs to the trailer? One for cable and one for satellite? The satellite input will only go to the main TV. The cable input will go to all TVs.

bdeye...I can't think of any reason why you could get some channels off the same cable wire, and not others since the connection feed is the same. Has to be an issue on cable frequencies within the TV itself.
Does this problem occur wherever you plug into cable or at just one park?? I have two of the SAME TV on my G'town and there ARE rare parks with weak signals (usually connected to Dish Feeds then converted to cable) where one TV will get more stations than the other from the same cable feed at the park pedestal. I've even hooked a portable TV to the pedestal directly outside and gotten a lot more than I got inside. This is rare but if your problem is at one park....the signal strength of the cable feed at the source may be causing the problem.

I had the same problem and I found that I didn't have continuity in the cable that runs from the splitter at the LR tv to to BR tv
That cable ran above the ceiling and I couldn't pull it out so I just run an external wire at night.
I don't see an easy way to get the bad wire out and run a good one without tearing out the ceiling.

Cut the end off the coax and install another crimp on

So, your saying there was no cable input (open cable) to your BR TV and you still got all the over the air channels on that TV? OK.

You are correct. Seiki in bedroom won t pickup channels through some cable providers due to tv tuner Has happened to me several times in our 2015 Georgetown XL. Other TV makes in other areas OK

Well, this thread is about the OP getting OTA viewing on both TV's and cable on the front one but no cable on the back one.
