Cable tv issues

Hi all, I have an issue regarding the coaxial cabling in my Cardinal. The signal from the park cable input is snowy though you can see a bit of picture. The Antenna signal is great. I bypassed the internal cabling by running the park cable through the window directly to the tv and it works great. My question is: How is the cabling run in these trailers and is there a splitter somewhere that is accessible? I believe that the splitter is bad or a cable is loose but I can't find it anywhere. Any help would be appreciated. THANKS!

Can't help with placement of splitter as I don't have a Cardinal, but did you turn the antenna amplifier off when hooked to cable?
On my XLR, I had to short one end of coax and check other ends to figure which cable was which. The had my cables going to the wrong inputs on the amp and aux connectors.

Good Luck

we have a cardinal. ditto on the antenna amplifier. it needs to be off for cable and on for over the air antenna. on ours it is located behind the bedroom tv. it looks like light a light switch cover and has a little black pushbutton and a green led light. I believe that the green light is on when it is set for over the air. press the button to turn it off for cable. (ps I may completely backward on the on /off but just press the button to put it into the other mode).
